New Day…

When a new day has presented it self why do we still hold on to yesterday thoughts?! What is it about yesterday that keeps us bound?!

Luke 1:78 A new day will dawn on us from above because our God is loving and merciful.

Why don’t we truly let go of our past for the better of our future which is now” Looking back will profit you nothing. Let’s not be another pillar of salt.

Genesis 19:26 But Lot’s wife looked back as she was following behind him, and she turned into a pillar of salt.

(The angels told her not to look back but keep moving and looking forward) but what did she do?” She looked back at her past.” And some of us do the same thing. We look back at our past and it profit us nothing” We begin to think about what a person have done to us or what we have done to ourselves. And it begins to open up old wounds and old doors that needed to be sealed forever.

Sometimes we must let go and keep moving forward with our heads high an our heart an mind open. Speaking Psalms 18:24 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”

It really doesn’t matter much about yesterday. As long as you can live in your today and rejoice about your tomorrow.

And okay I get it” Sometimes what has happened on yesterday will affect you for today and your tomorrow. But do your best to find the peace in your yesterday so you can live in the joy of your today and the happiness of your tomorrow.
